Description
Fully gone over, all new electrolytics, mains up from 4800uf to 15,000uf. New 5amp fast rectifiers, ALL NEW (proper) OUTPUT V-FETs, multi-turn bias pots, problematic bias diodes replaced, Nichicon Gold throughout, Relay contacts done, all pots and switches cleaned, every input tested, power supplies repaired where needed Bias and DC offset set/confirmed. Photos show PCBs before and after.
Both have very nice faceplates and knobs, unit # 2 has some minor staining on the top cover, nothing major. Discrete bipolar / FET phono stage with 2 inputs. They clip at 40w/ch into 8 ohms with THD around 0.02%.
Keep in mind, these 2 units (beyond their functional value) have had around $600.00 worth of work added to their value. They are absolute beauties, you don't see them in this particular condition very often. Price is firm.
